Erin Esiyok
Communications & Marketing Manager
Erin joined the Council in 2024, brining 15+ years of experience in public relations/communications, marketing, media relations and stakeholder engagement. Erin is focused on delivering communications strategies that grow the Council's profile and support its long-term vision and is responsible for media relations, communications, content, events and external relations.
A senior marketing and communications leader, Erin spent 13 years with Events East Group, the government agency that operates the Halifax Convention Centre and Scotiabank Centre, where she managed award-winning brands, marketing campaigns, corporate communications and community engagement strategies. She has a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and currently serves as Treasurer for the Downtown Halifax Business Commission Board of Directors.
