Diversity Review - Inclusion in Atlantic Canada (May 29, 2024)
Go Back

This report is the first in a new member publication series released once every five years covering the progress and impacts of inclusion and diversity in Atlantic Canada.

Atlantic Canada is becoming more diverse. Rising immigration is leading to a larger visible minority population. An aging population and greater recognition of mental health challenges are adding to the number of persons with disabilities. New data from Statistics Canada on 2SLGBTQ+ persons allow us to have a better understanding of this segment of the population.

Our latest report notes significant demographic shifts and ongoing challenges in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across Atlantic Canada.

Employers, boards, and policy makers can use this data to help benchmark their own performance in terms of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

This member publication is made publicly available in the interest of advancing knowledge and supporting an inclusive Atlantic Canadian economy.
